Apply for this role

About the role

We build the software that surplus recovery businesses in the United States use every day: the CRM, the calling and messaging, the documents, the reporting. When something breaks, their work stops. That shapes how we build.

This is a small team, so you will own features end to end rather than being handed tickets. You will talk to the people who use what you build.

What you will do

  • Ship features across the stack, from the database up to the interface.
  • Own what you build after it ships, including the bugs.
  • Write code the next person can read and change safely.
  • Work directly with the people using the product to understand what is actually wrong.

What we are looking for

  • Strong TypeScript, and real experience with React and Next.js.
  • Comfortable with Postgres and writing queries you can defend.
  • You can take a vague problem and turn it into something shipped.
  • You test the thing you built before calling it done.

What to send us

We want to see the work, not a description of it. Include as much of this as you have.

  • A GitHub profile, a portfolio, or a link to something live you built.
  • The companies or clients you have built for.
  • One project you can talk through in detail: what it does, what was hard, what you would change.
  • If your best work is private, describe it instead. We would rather read that than see nothing.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Supabase, or with row level security in Postgres.
  • Anything involving telephony, messaging, or payments.
  • You have maintained software that other people depend on daily.

How hiring works

1

Apply

You fill in the form and record a short voice sample reading a script we give you. For phone roles the voice sample is what decides whether we move forward.

2

We listen

Every application is reviewed by a person. You hear back either way.

3

Interview

A short video call. You may be asked to read something aloud or take a mock call.

4

Offer

If it is a fit you get written terms with the pay, the hours and the start date on them.
